Poppies and Tulips

Hi Liz here,
with a bit of a change this week as I've made a couple of creations only using dies, no stamping which is very different for me lol,
The first one is a card which I think would be lovely for a thank you or get well card

I've used a  Memory Box Prim Poppy and Dancing tulips for the dies, Janet has sold out of the dancing tulip die but has the Tulip petals dies in, which finish off the look beautifully and are well worth getting I think,

Janet also has most of her gorgeous Memory Box dies on sale at the moment so check them out, I love them all lol,

I cut the dies using two main colours and layered them up using pinflair glue then when dry adding star dust Stickles to the edges,
the gorgeous bow is made using the 15mm white super sheer ribbon, I love these ribbons they tie beautifully,

My Second creation is a tag

For this I've used the Prim Poppy die and cut out three layers for the top one and two for the second and lower flowers, these I have layered up with pinflair glue slightly curling the top layer of the top one for a little extra depth and dimension,

to finish off I've used some of the beautiful 25mm white sheer ribbon and some gorgeous 3/8 May Arts lace too for again a little interest, my paper on this tag I distressed with my distress tool and finished off with some lovely pearls,
I hope you'll agree you get a very different look depending how you use them and I hope I may have given you a couple of ideas lol,

Dancing Tulips

Hello, Lisa here with my little creation for today.

I decided to do something a bit different, and used the lovely Memory Box tulip dies instead of a stamped image to make my card...

Sentiment stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento ink

Thanks for popping in, hope you all have a lovely evening :o)

Kitty's Picnic

Hi everyone. I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I have a card to show you today, using an image from one of the Wild Rose Studio Printed Panel packs…definitely a great craft store cupboard stand-by for making those last minute cards!! This cute image is called Kitty’s Picnic and is one of the four designs (two of each printed panel plus four outlines) included in the pack...all I needed to do was add a bit of stickles glitz...and voila!

The paper that I have used is also from by the Wild Rose Studio Annabelle’s Meadow Collection and the sentiment is from the Wild Rose Studio Circle Greetings set.

I've had a lovely time playing with a range of dies on this card! The border is a Magnolia Doohickey ‘Sweet Lovely Lace’ which is on special offer this weekend. The cute little dragonfly is a Memory Box die called ‘Willow Dragonfly’...whilst I do like my butterfly dies, these dragonfly dies (Memory box have produced two of differing sizes with the new release) do add something a little bit different!

The sentiment frame has been made using the Whimsy ‘Elegant Notables 1’ die….and my two favourite dies of the moment (Memory Box Dancing Tulips and Tulip Petals) were used to create the flower and leaves. The Dancing Tulips die can be used independently, as Kerry did on her card earlier in the week, or teamed up with the Tulip Petals for a bigger bloom. Before I started, I wondered if it was going to be very fiddly sticking the four petal bits together, but I have to say, if you follow the four-staged picture on the packaging, it comes together very easily!

The pearls are from our new range by the Hobby House – if you’ve not had chance to check them out yet, do pop over to the store. We are trialling four colours at the moment – ivory, snow white, wedding day and liking lilac…so, please let us know what you think!
