Amy

Hiya everyone.  It's Annette here today using Whimsy's Amy from The Stamp Basket.  I've opted for a beautiful purple colour scheme for this card, and really tried harder with my colouring of the image.  I've coloured her first with copics, and then done some highlighting and shading with my pencils.  I worked for ages on her hair with both the copics and pencils, and it went from looking worse than my usual attempts can manage, to being what I now consider to be adequate.  I think I need to revisit the hair colouring department!! LOL.

I added some tufts of grass at her feet using a flicking motion with really sharp pencils in a few different shades of green.

I've also included two lovely dies, both coloured in some way; the picket fence was cut in white card, and then coloured with copics and pencils, and the honeyblossom sprig was cut in purple card and I used a dark purple copic to give the flower centres some depth before adding a huge pearl centre.

I've stitched around the image and DP panels, added a beautiful bow in the gorgeous sparkly sheer white ribbon, a few pearls and some flowers, and voilà!

All items are from The Stamp Basket as follows:
Pop over to The Stamp Basket to see the lovely array of products on offer.  Don't forget there's a fab sale on there too at the moment so grab your goodies while they're on offer.

Happy crafting

Amy...on a cool day!

Hi all,
…so how are you fairing on this, the hottest day of the year…so far?! Whether you’re cooking by gas or beginning to look like a piece of limp lettuce, I have a clean, fresh, crisp card to show you that was made several weeks ago when the weather was oh so much cooler!!!

These Prima Meadow Lark papers are some of my favourites and this Whimsy 'Amy' stamp is such a cutie... I did so enjoy colouring her in! Here's a close up of the image coloured with copics:

..and another picture of the embellies...

Amy

Hi everyone. My turn to post today and I thought I’d share a card I’ve made using a Whimsy stamp called ‘Amy’…I just love these stamps by Sylvia Zett…such cute, sunny characters and a real joy to colour too!

The paper is from the pretty Prima Meadowlark Collection…isn’t this pad just gorgeous?!?...and then matted onto Fairy Dust Bazzill card. The sentiment is from the Tina Wenke ‘With Love’ set of stamps by Stampavie which has been die cut with one of the new Memory Box Marshmallow Clouds dies…I am so loving these new dies! There are two clouds in this particular set; this is the smaller of the two and just right for small sentiments or tags!
Amy has been coloured with copics and ‘blinged’ with stickles:

Recipe:
