A Rosie Rabbit Gift

The pretty papers are the inspiration for this card, so I've carried them into the image and embellishments.

Pink and blue are definitely my two favourite colours, and although I've never really thought of them as a Christmas duo, they do seem to work quite well.

I've used a lovely corner die with the snow flourish die peeking out to the side.

Initially I actually thought the image was for a birthday, but then I saw the poinsettia, so I've ensured the festive theme is clear with the Christmas sentiment and snowflake die cuts.  I guess if you wanted to use this image for a birthday, you could colour the flower a different colour, or pop a die cut flower over the top to make the image more versatile.

Girl With Xmas Presents

Morning all, and welcome. It is my final card for The Stamp Basket DT, my how the last six months have flown. I would like to take the opportunity of thanking Janet for the opportunity, I have had a blast, and she has been so kind, encouraging and patient with me. Thank you hunny, I will miss you.

So, what do I have for you for my last card? Well, it is another of those super gorgeous new Wild Rose Studio Christmas releases.

Ingredients that are available from The Stamp Basket Store

Stamp - Wild Rose Studio - Girl With Xmas Presents

Stamping Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black

Colouring Medium: Distress Inks (ReInkers)

Papers - Wild Rose Studio - Holly Lane

Corner die - Wild Rose Studio - Snowflake Corner

Dies: Nestabilities - Classic Ovals

And from my stash, pencils, Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals, and plain card base

Can I just say, if you have never tried the Wild Rose Studio dies, you have been missing out. They cut beautifully, first time every time, and there is none of this struggling to get the paper out of the die. Like the summer collection, these winter ones almost fall out on their own.

So, that's me done, thanks to everyone who has been so supportive of my time as a member of The Stamp Basket DT, including my amazing and talented teamies, Annette and Deb, and of course Janet.

Hugs to all
