I’ve used two of my favourite sentiment stamps sets: Whimsy’ Holiday Notables 2’ set cut using the Whimsy ‘Notables 2’ die and Whiff of Joy ‘Christmas Banners’ set cut using one of the three Whiff of Joy ‘Cute Banners Trio’ die. Both stamps sets provide a lovely range of sentiments with17 stamps in the Whimsy set and 20 stamps in the WOJ set! I’ve also used the Whimsy ‘Ornaments Border’ die which cuts beautifully.

Elf Maya and Kitty Writing Santa's List

It's Annette here again, and for those of you who visited yesterday, I promised a real cutie today, and I think I have to say that this card is one of my favourites this year.  The image is Elf Maya & Kitty writing Santa's List from The Stamp Basket.

I'm not sure whether it is the pretty papers, cute image, rich chocolatey colours (they are chocolate brown not black by the way), simple layout, fab dies or just that the whole card seems to encompass everything that is my style.

Oh dear, I really sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet here, but this was just one of those cards that I looked at when I'd finished and I thought "I'd like to keep this one"!

Hopefully you all know what I'm trying to say, and I hope you have had more of those types of cards than I seem to have had, as opposed to my mojo going AWOL whenever I sit down to craft.

Anyhoo, before I drivel on and bore you silly (too late, huh!) here's my card ...

All items are from The Stamp Basket as follows:

Pop over to The Stamp Basket to see the lovely array of products, especially the pre-Christmas offers that are on promotion at the moment.  Grab yourself an early Christmas present and treat yourself.

Happy crafting, and have a wonderful Sunday.
Hugs

Maya and Kitty Sledging

It's Annette here today and I've got some gorgeous new cutie-pies to share with you today from the The Stamp Basket.  This is one of the new Whiff of Joy images called Maya and Kitty Sledging.  I've got a couple of these to show you over the next couple of weeks, (but I would secretly urge you to pop back here tomorrow as I think it's my favourite of the lot - so far at least!).

Anyhoo, this is just a quick post as I'm running late today.  I usually get my posts written the night before, but I didn't manage last night.  I was trying to write out all my overseas cards as I think I should probably have posted them already by now, so I wanted to get them posted today.  I hope I'm not too late!

Hope you like my card. Have a fab Saturday and I'll see you all tomorrow for some more Whiff of Joy cuteness.

All items are from The Stamp Basket as follows:

Pop over to The Stamp Basket to see the lovely array of products on offer.  There are loads of deals on at the moment while out old stock is cleared out to make way for these gorgeous new items, so grab a bargain while the promotions are running.

Happy crafting
See you tomorrow.
Hugs

Joy, Peace and Love

Hi all,
I have a criss cross card to show you today using an image from one of the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas Collection called ‘Annabelle and Tree’.

If you’ve never made a Criss cross card, they are really so easy to make and there are lots of tutorials on the web to show you how to go about it.

I’ve used two of the square straight edged Craftwork Cards stuck together with opposing sides cut to make the triangle effect. The papers that I used are a combination of Nitwits ‘Joyful Hearts Holly’ (for the front) and Papermania ‘At Christmas Time’ (for the inside), both of which were matted onto Bazzill Cardinal – you only need a small square of each.

Here’s a close up of the image which has been blinged with glamour dust and stickles!

I've used two sentiments on the card - on the front I've used one from the new Whimsy Holiday Notables 2 cut with the Whimsy Notables 2 die – these sentiments are just right for small spaces and the set (comprising 17 stamps in all) have a range of lovely words, suitable for all Christmas cards. The die is the gorgeous Memory Box Whimsical Flourish – I think this has been one of my favourite of all the Memory Box Christmas dies this year!
I've also used the sentiment from the Wild Rose Studio 'Christmas Tree' stamp set in the inside panel. The tabs have been made using the Memory Box Bistro Label...such a versatile little die!

                                      Card Recipe:

Don’t forget our weekend offer on Nellie Snellen and Marianne Design stamps, dies and papers...some great bargains!

I hope you have a lovely weekend, whatever your plans!

Big hugs,

Janet xx
