Raining Roses

Hello again,

My second post today is a Wedding Anniversary card that I made recently using the cute Wild Rose Studio ‘Raining Roses’ stamp and co-ordinating WRS ‘Always and Forever’ papers. Previously, I’ve teamed these papers with Bazzill ‘Carob’ base card but this time, I decided to accentuate the mauves in the papers and have matted them onto Bazzill ‘Brocade’. The deep and pale pinks of these pretty papers co-ordinate so well with mauve cardstock!

Ooh, la la...Laura and Henri!

Hello and a warm welcome to The Stamp Basket on this beautiful Spring day! I finally have a card to show you using one of the new Stampavie images by Sarah Kay called ‘Laura and Henri’…just so adorable!  
 

Here’s a close up of the image, coloured with copics.

..and a close up of the sentiment stamped using one of the new 'Circle Greetings' set from Wild Rose Studio, mounted onto Magnolia paper. The heart is made using two Memory Box dies: La Rue Heart (just gorgeous on its own!), teamed with La Grand Heart.

The flower has been die cut using the Magnolia DooHickey Doily Flowers die and Magnolia Cloudy Turquoise Hearts paper, then glittered with Star Dust stickles.

Saturday Afternoon at The Stamp Basket

Hi everyone - I hope you are enjoying your weekend and are not snowed in where you live! The countryside looks so beautiful when there is a fresh fall of snow but brrr…it’s so cold!

I have a card to show you today using another of my favourite images from the Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love collection called ‘Rose Scent Tilda’. The sentiment has been made using a very versatile little stamp from Molly Blooms!

The heart die is from the new Memory Box release and no guesses for the border...my favourite Magnolia die of the moment!  The flower has been made from Magnolia vintage paper using a combination of dies: the new Memory Box 'scalloped posie' and the Magnolia 'flower'...and then glittered with stickles!
