Bluebell and Presents

I have a cute Christmas Bluebell image to share today in quite a CAS design.  I have cut a nestie shape into the middle of my backing paper before sticking it onto my card base.  I then matted the cut shape onto deep red card and stuck it back direclty over the cut area on the card base. This technique only uses one piece of designer paper, but it creates a sort of frame that I quite like.  Simple and economical! :0)

Annabelle With Sledge

It feels so strange posting about Christmas in July when we have been through a heatwave and summer storms, but that is what we are celebrating at The Stamp Basket at the moment ..... so here is a card to cool you down.

I'm sorry if this comes as a shock to my CAS fans, I got a little carried away, lol

Ingredients for this card available from The Stamp Basket store are:
Stamping Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Papers: Maja Design (1) Coffee In The Arbour and (2) Walk In The Forest

And from my stash were pencils and the sentiment

Merry Christmas everyone!

Hugs, Squirrel xx

Nordic Christmas Kit - Annabelle and Tree

Morning all and welcome to the fourth day of our Christmas in July event!

As you know already, to help take the stress out of your Christmas card making this year, we have put together some lovely little Christmas kits. For today’s card, I have used some of the items from the ‘Nordic Christmas - Annabelle with Tree' Kit which is available to buy in our online shop.

One of the advantages of this new range of kits is that they allow you to try out different products without buying a complete pack…and of course, if you find you like them, you can then always buy more of each item separately! They also make great gifts for friends or relatives!

                                               Card Recipe:

Card:  Bazzill ‘Kraft’ (from the Nordic Christmas Kit 1’); Craftwork Cards ‘Straight Edge’ Card Pack
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
Big hugs,

Janet xx

Cherry Blossom

Yay, it's Saturday so it's Annette here with a card to share for The Stamp Basket.  I've used my favourite Saturated Canary Rubber called Cherry Blossom, and painted her with my DI reinkers.  It gives a really soft appearance but does appear to make her hair grey rather than black!  For my first attempt at painting this image I was actually quite pleased with the result on the dress, face and tree. I might need a bit more practice on hair though!!  I hope you like her as much as I do.
