Annabelle Hanging Gifts

Yup, we're still in Christmas mode at the moment, but today I've used some gorgeous papers which are not really festive, but look kind of 'frosty'!  The beautiful aqua papers are so pretty that it seemed such a tragedy to cover them up with 'stuff'!

I kept all the embellies either white or pale blue so they continued the frosty theme, and liberally sprinkled glitter in the snowy areas, as well as some pretty lace and pearls.

I really like this colour scheme for Christmas, and it makes a nice change from traditional reds and greens.

Bella with a Pile of Presents

Hello everyone, it's Annette here again and I can tell you that I managed to make it though my sponsored walk last night without incident (apart from the idiots who thought it was fun to drive along the route throwing potatoes at the walkers and marshalls!!! One hit my friend square on the back).  I ached so much by the end and you can be certain that I won't be doing much today!  I think it could be a great excuse for a crafting day!!

My card for The Stamp Basket today is another Bella, this time she's sitting on a pile of wrapped presents holding a balloon.  She looks like she's in full party mode!

The papers match the image, and I've tried to colour the image using the same colour scheme, including a touch of pale purple to bring out the purple accent on the lid of the bottom box.

Don't forget too that the Stamp Basket Summer Sale finishes tomorrow, so get your skates on to grab a sale bargain.

Tilly With Presents

Whoa, It's Annette here today, but I'm a bit late with my post today, mainly because I've only just finished my card!!!  Whoops!

I'm using some gorgeous Wild Rose Studio papers, and I matched the colours of the papers in the colours that I used for the image, which is also Wild Rose Studio called Tilly with Presents.

I think that the purple and aqua look lovely together.

Rose Scent Tilda

It's Annette with you today, and I really love today's card which I've made for The Stamp Basket.  I ordered the  gorgeous new Graphic 45 pad from Janet, and it arrived last Saturday.  So, after hubby's rant along the lines of "gawd, what have you bought now" when the package hit the doormat, guess what I spent the morning playing with!!

I coloured her with my Copics, but stamped the image with grey, rather than black, ink pad so the lines are soft.  I stitched around the panels and image and managed to squeeze in two of my favourite Memory box dies; Lavish Branch and Fancy Blossoms.

Tilly with Presents

Hello everyone, it's Annette acting as your host today, and despite the lack of my beloved embellishments, I think that today's card is one of my favourites that I've created for The Stamp Basket.  Probably because it features my favourite two colours, pink and aqua.

I've used my lovely Wild Rose Studio Vintage Rose papers. There are usually one or two papers in a set that I don't like as much, but I love all the papers in this set. I've also used a cute image of Tilly with Presents.

It's a truly C&S design (for me) and I really like showing off the pretty pink and aqua papers without cluttering them up with a lot of embellishments.

Hope you like it too.

Jessica

Sunday is upon us, and it's Annette here today with another project to share.  I'm using Jessica and some gorgeous papers from Crafty Impressions called Lace Butterflies.  I've also used some of my new favourite flower dies. I just love how these look with some little pearls in the centres.

Purple Florence

It's Annette here today, with a new image from The Stamp Basket called Florence from Crafter's Companion.  These papers are particularly lovely and I've edged them in a plain purple card to give them a 'pop'.  I cut out and coloured my image, and raised her up onto a backing circle, onto which I'd chalked some background clouds and grass.

I'm also using some lovely new dies; the Locina Buckle and Fancy Blossoms.  I chalked the petals of the die cut flowers, and curled them around my paintbrush handle to give them some dimension.

Finally, I didn't have any purple seam binding, so I used some vintage ivory ribbon and just streaked along it with my marker pen (the wide nib end) which coloured it the shade of purple that I wanted.

April Sunshine

Hi everyone. My card today showcases a stamp from the new Elizabeth Bell Cottage Cutie Collection by Whimsy called ‘April Sunshine’ – it’s such a cute, versatile image and really lovely to colour! The sentiment on the front of the card is from the ‘With Love’ set of stamps designed by Tina Wenke for Stampavie – there’s a lovely range of sentiments stamps in this set that can be used for so many different occasions, so good value for money…and, of course, being Stampavie, they stamp beautifully.

The papers are Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love Cloudy Turquoise Hearts and Vintage Turquoise – such lovely soft shades…and the good news is, we have a weekend special on the Cloudy Hearts papers at The Stamp Basket this weekend!

The doily behind the image has been made using the Memory Box ‘Quinn Flourish’ – this is a lovely delicate die which would also look great as a focal point for a project. The border has been created using the Martha Stewart Edger ‘Doily lace’ punch and the dragonfly is the smaller baby ‘Willow Dragonfly’ from Memory Box. I’ve decorated the inside of the card to compliment the front, using a corner die from the Whimsy Corner die set, along with the Memory Box ‘Petite Umbrella’ die (optimistically, mine is a parasol!) and the Memory Box ‘Fancy Blossoms’ die set. The sentiments inside the card have been computer generated.

All products used are available at The Stamp Basket.
