Letters and Roses

I have a card to show you today using the Bildmalarna Letters and Roses image…she’s such a delightful, sunny little girl, that she’s sure to put a smile on everyone’s face!

I’ve gone with the theme of roses on this card, using backing papers from the Wild Rose Studio ‘Letters from Paris’ pad.  The corner die is one of my favourites - the Memory Box Madera Corner – and the computer generated sentiment has been die cut using Spellbinders Shapeabilities Ribbon Banners.

Here’s a close up of the image, coloured with copics.

All products used are available at The Stamp Basket.

Letters and Roses

It's Marianne here again with my third guest designer card.

I have used the gorgeous new Bildmalarna Letters and Roses stamp. The card blank is Craftwork Cards on the edge elegant one and I decide to try something different with this card. I wanted to show off the beautiful birds on the Prima Meadowlark paper so stuck part of a sheet direct to the card and then cut it out following the shape of the card. I then mounted the die cut image onto more of the same paper and added some cream vintage ribbon. After colouring the image I paper pieced her dress to match the backing paper.

The large Prima Meadowlark flowers match the papers so beautifully and I added some Hobby House pearls to the flowers and to her bouquet.
