Gardening Fun

I started off thinking this could be a masculine kind of card, but then I picked the floral papers.

If so, it's going to have to be a man who's in touch with his feminine side!

Also don't forget there is still a Spring sale on at The Stamp Basket at the moment.

Gardening Fun

Yup, spring is here, and it's time to get sewing the seeds and digging up those weeds.  To get you in the mood, I've got a gardening themed card to share with you.

The image is called Gardening Fun (that must be the planting part, as the weeding part is definitely not fun as far as I'm concerned).

Sweet Crazy Love

Morning all, and here we are, only a few hours from halfway through the week, and just about halfway through the month too, how did that happen?!  But of course, it being Wednesday means it is my turn to DT for The Stamp Basket, wheeeee!

A change of style for me today.  I had such fun with the various bits and bobs that I got a little carried away (and some say that I should be).

So, the ingredients for today's card which are available at The Stamp Basket store are
And from my stash are Polychromos Pencils and a Paper Smooches sentiment

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday

Felicity

I've not got a Christmas card, but a birthday card today, for a change! I've combined soft floral papers with a deep burgundy satin ribbon.  It actually does look darker in the photo than in real life, but it does give some contrast next to the gentle colours in the papers.

I cut the backing paper to size for the card base, and then cut out a square from the centre of it. Then I layered the centre square onto matching plain paper, and inserted it back into place with its frame.  I like the way it creates a bit of interest without too much fuss.

Biggles

I've got another masculine card to share with you today, and it's another one using an aeronautical theme!

I've again cut out a square insert from the main backing papers, layered them on plain coloured card, and replaced them in the same place so the patterns match again, but with an insert panel.  It gives a bit of variation in the background without too much fuss, so I think it's quite good for a masculine card.

Chocolate Cake, anyone?

Today's card is using my Wild Rose Studio Vintage Rose papers again (I'm really loving this pad).  The ribbon is also a gorgeous chocolate brown, but it looks kind of black in the photo.  :0(

I messed up cutting out the image as a circle panel, so ended up fussy-cutting out the image and layering it directly on the chocolate brown panel so that it popped out of the card.

Sun Kissed

Considering I'm not really a fan of the colour green, I have made a couple of green cards lately and quite liked them.  This card is a real change from my usual pink creations, although I have sneaked some purple in there!  I really like these Secret Garden text papers and they inspired the colour scheme.

French Country Gardening Fun!

Hi all,

Happy Wednesday everyone! I have a card to show you today using the lovely Stampavie image called ‘Gardening Fun’ (in the summer sale!) which I’ve teamed with some gorgeous rich papers from the Graphic 45 'French Country' 6” x 6” solids and patterns pad…OMW, this is such a gorgeous pad of papers…and of course, co-ordinates perfectly with the 8” x 8” pad which is equally gorgeous! Hope you like my card!

As this is a male card, I kept it very simple adding a computer generated sentiment cut using the Whimsy 'Tab 1' die, a Memory Box ‘Forest Snail’ die cut and some Memory Box ‘Dancing Butterflies’ die cuts – great little dies for enhancing a garden themed project!

Here's a close up of the image coloured with copics:

Mariella

It's Annette here today with my card for The Stamp Basket featuring Mariella from Crafter's Companion.  I've used a pretty pink and blue colour scheme to match the papers, added some blue ribbon and a blue button and also some new dies.

I've used Arianna Sprig, Dancing Butterflies and Forest Snail from Memory Box, and also my new La La Lands Heart fence which I've coloured with some brown streaks to give it a wood grain effect.  I didn't have the right shade of blue card for the flower sprig die, so I cut it out in white and coloured it with my Copics.

Felicity

It's Annette with you again sharing a card for The Stamp Basket which features Felicity from Crafter's Companion (and a couple more new dies!).

I love the party lanterns and have cut them out on patterned card and inked the edge a bit to give them some shape.

The 'thanks' sentiment is die cut and then given a dose of Stickles and the little snail and flower have been added to the lower corners.

Unfortunately most of the pretty floral paper panels have been covered up!!
