The mortar board and scroll were paper pieced, mounted onto foam pads and edged with a Tsukeniko Memento black marker pen - hard to tell in the photos!

Dad Balloons

Hi all,

I have a Father’s Day card to show you today that I made recently using this adorable cute teddy stamp from Wild Rose Studio called ‘Dad Balloons’…aw! The gorgeous papers are Bo Bunny ‘Surprise’ - papers for male cards are quite often in blues and browns but this pad is just the ticket for bringing a big ray of  sunshine into Father’s Day and of course, will be so suitable for other special occasion cards too!

April Sunshine...

I have a card to show you today using the gorgeous Whimsy ‘April Sunshine’ stamp which I’ve teamed with the fabulous Docrafts Papermania Vintage Notes paper…I can’t get enough of this paper pack…and it is exactly what it says on the tin…just full of soft, romantic vintage style!

Spring Honey Blossom

Hi, it's Annette here today with an Elizabeth Bell card in some lovely spring fresh colours.  I tried so hard to colour her hair, doing lots of flick movements with my copics, but I still don't think that it looks that good.  More practice needed, I think!

I coloured my pearls, and the pearl brad with my copics to match the pink theme, and maintained my new year's resolution to include stitching on my card.

I've also used my honeyblossom sprig die again, this time I've coloured it with my chalks rather than leave it plain pink.

Heidi in the Snow

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas! Although, we're all still in chillout mode at The Stamp Basket, I just thought I'd stop by and show you a card I made some time ago now using one of my favourite Whimsy stamps called ‘Heidi’…isn’t she so cute?!

 

The delicious papers are My Mind’s Eye ‘Lavender’…such a gorgeous blend of pinks and aquas in this pad….definitely my kind of colours!

I went for quite a simple layout with this card so that the image could really sing out! The sentiment is from a lovely Stampavie set that are currently in the sale, stamped onto card that has been cut using one of the Memory Box Marshmallow Clouds die (that are also in the sale!) – there are two in the set.

Hi Liz here, with another card this time using Tilly with flowers, for

For a change I've coloured my image with copics again, my mood keeps changing from copics to distress inks then back again lol,

I've used these gorgeous Wild Rose Studio~ Letters from Paris papers, love the look of these, so in vogue and right up my street too lol,

For a change I used two vintage ribbons crossed them on the card and made a bow out of the two too, finishing it off with a  fabby button,

Hi everyone. My turn to post today and I thought I’d share a card I’ve made using a Whimsy stamp called ‘Amy’…I just love these stamps by Sylvia Zett…such cute, sunny characters and a real joy to colour too!

The paper is from the pretty Prima Meadowlark Collection…isn’t this pad just gorgeous?!?...and then matted onto Fairy Dust Bazzill card. The sentiment is from the Tina Wenke ‘With Love’ set of stamps by Stampavie which has been die cut with one of the new Memory Box Marshmallow Clouds dies…I am so loving these new dies! There are two clouds in this particular set; this is the smaller of the two and just right for small sentiments or tags!
