Giving Away

Today's card is a bit less colourful than last Saturday's card, although I have sneaked a bit of pink into the image.  The matting and die cuts are all in silver mirror card, and I've used another of my cute little Nellie Snellen images.  This one's called Giving Away.  What a sweetie she is, don't you think?

Giving Away

It's Annette back as your host today.  I ordered a few bits and bobs from the The Stamp Basket sale last week, and although they're Christmas images, and it's only June, I couldn't resist using them for today's card.

This cute Nellie Snellen image is called Giving Away and I painted her with my distress reinkers. I tried to water down the colours a bit as I wanted a softer appearance.  I've used non festive colours of aqua and brown, but added some white snowflake die cuts.

Giving Away and getting ahead

Hello everyone and Happy New Year

Wow 2012 where do the years go eh?

Here's a little card I made using one of the lovely Nellie Snellen stamps available on the website In the sale woohoo! :)

I thought I would start as I mean to go on and get in front this year so I plan on making

 at least 1 Xmas card per week. Also a great excuse for buying up all those xmas bargains in the sale :)

Woohoo it's arrived....

...the first day of my DT post . I'm super excited to sharing with you my first project for
The Stamp Basket

 For my card I used :

Image: Nellie Snellen "giving away" coloured with prisma color pencils

Backing papers: Papermania "at Christmas time"

Ribbon: Green Satin

Gems: Dovecraft adhesive Gemstones

And a smattering of my all time favourite yes Glamour dust of course! It's just not a Christmas card in my eyes unless it's been glamourised!

As it's was my first project I thought I would celebrate by making 2 cards 

so I set to work on the leftovers from the first card. 

All the ingredients are the same as above apart from the sentiment

which is from a wild rose studio set called " Christmas tree"
