I've got a sweet little Bella image to share today, in a pastel pink and purple colour scheme.  I was a bit worried that the colours wouldn't work, but I actually quite like them.

Bella With Daisy

I've been trying to practice DI watercolouring in an attempt to get the shading a bit softer rather than bold.  I find it really hard to do, because each time I sit back and look at my work, I think it needs a bit more shadow adding, and it slowly ends up dark like all my other attempts!

Not this time though, I restrained myself - so unlike me!

I chose pretty Wild Rose Studio papers in shades to match the image, and they're quite softly shaded too, so it all gels together.

Bella the Elephant

Although I'm still itching to get my snowflake dies out, I'm forcing myself to have a bit of a break from the Christmas themes at the moment, although I imagine they'll be sneaking back before long.

I'm back in pink mode today with a Wild Rose Studio image aptly named Bella with Daisy.  It's definitely not Christmassy, but could really be for any occasion as I've not put a sentiment on it.

The papers are gorgeous Magnolia ones that I've been saving for a rainy day.  And believe me, on the weather front, today is definitely counting as a rainy day. Even the ducks have their wellies on today.

Still, I'm not complaining as the bad weather means I can spend more time crafting! :0)

Bella with Daisy

Hi all,

I hope you are keeping well and warm…how the mornings have changed with the Autumn mists! I’m still in my cornflour blue phase here at The Stamp Basket Headquarters…and still not a Christmas card in sight!

 

Today I have another very simple ‘thank you’ card to show you using a really cute stamp from Wild Rose Studio called ‘Bella with Daisy’….although I’ve just realised my daisy has been coloured purple  to match the backing papers! Oh well, I’m sure a bit of artistic license will be fine!

 

 

I’ve teamed Bella with paper from the WRS ‘Bella Birthday’ paper pack and used a small piece of Bazzill ‘Classic Purple’ card to lift the image.

Bella with Daisy

It's Annette with you today, and boy oh boy, I'm so glad it's the weekend, although I'm doing a 15 mile sponsored night-walk tonight in aid of our local hospice!!   It starts at 7pm and I suspect I'll not get to bed until the early hours!!!  Zzzzzzzz   Wish me luck!!

My card for The Stamp Basket today features the cute 'heffalump', Bella with Daisy.  I've used some patriotic Wild Rose Studio Union Jack papers, and opted for a red, white and blue colour scheme.  I even coloured the shadow blue, but now I think it rather looks like Bella's stood in a puddle!
