Bluebell with Hedgehog

Bluebell is out again, this time with her prickly friend. I've also used some Wild Rose Studio papers which set the colour scheme.  It's fairly safe to say that I'm in a purple mood, so if you don't like purples, you'd best look away now!

Little Love Bear

I know it's only January, so a little way away from Valentines yet, but as it's dismal outside, I fancied making something to brighten the mood.

This little bear is called Little Love Bear and I quite fancy a little bit of what he's carrying as it looks like a box of chocs to me! :0)

Bunny with Flowers

It's Annette back with you today with my Saturday project for The Stamp Basket, and I've got something a bit different to share, because it's not a card.  I've made a door hanger in some lovely pinks, and of course some gorgeous dies!

The hanger is a large piece of chipboard and I've threaded some ribbon through holes at the top to hang it by.  I used some really teeny circle dies to make some re-inforcers for the holes.  The sentiment is typed in Word in white text with a purple background, and then cut out with my Bistro Label die.

The gorgeous floral papers are from Docrafts Country Companions and are glossy, so they have a lovely sheen.  I've colour co-ordinated my die cuts with the purple accents on the die cuts for a pink and purple theme.

Rebecca

It's Annette here today with another pink creation, and another Saturated Canary image, this time it's Rebecca.

I've kept the layout quite simple as I've used a Martha Stewart border punch to create some interest and didn't want too much fuss to detract from the image and pretty papers.  I've just added a couple of simple pearls, a charm from my stash and of course some gorgeous satin ribbon.

Joy, Peace and Love

Hi all,
I have a criss cross card to show you today using an image from one of the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas Collection called ‘Annabelle and Tree’.

If you’ve never made a Criss cross card, they are really so easy to make and there are lots of tutorials on the web to show you how to go about it.

I’ve used two of the square straight edged Craftwork Cards stuck together with opposing sides cut to make the triangle effect. The papers that I used are a combination of Nitwits ‘Joyful Hearts Holly’ (for the front) and Papermania ‘At Christmas Time’ (for the inside), both of which were matted onto Bazzill Cardinal – you only need a small square of each.

Here’s a close up of the image which has been blinged with glamour dust and stickles!

I've used two sentiments on the card - on the front I've used one from the new Whimsy Holiday Notables 2 cut with the Whimsy Notables 2 die – these sentiments are just right for small spaces and the set (comprising 17 stamps in all) have a range of lovely words, suitable for all Christmas cards. The die is the gorgeous Memory Box Whimsical Flourish – I think this has been one of my favourite of all the Memory Box Christmas dies this year!
I've also used the sentiment from the Wild Rose Studio 'Christmas Tree' stamp set in the inside panel. The tabs have been made using the Memory Box Bistro Label...such a versatile little die!

Don’t forget our weekend offer on Nellie Snellen and Marianne Design stamps, dies and papers...some great bargains!

I hope you have a lovely weekend, whatever your plans!

Big hugs,

Baby Jesus

It's Annette here with today's card using a sweet image from Nellie Snellen called Baby Jesus.  I've painted it with my Distress re-inkers but I had a small mishap because I mistakenly coloured Mary's foot green when I was painting her head scarf.  I couldn't then colour it the same colour as her face, so instead I pretended she was wearing shoes, and coloured it chocolate brown instead.

I think I will try to colour this image again sometime soon and see if I can improve!

Purple Tilly

I've got another card to share today on behalf of The Stamp Basket.  This one's less of a traditional Christmas colour card, but I think it is sometimes nice to be different!

I love the sweet snowflake embossing folder and the gorgeous corner dies.  I'm also in love with this small bistro label die.  It's a great size.

Tilly with Presents

It's Annette with another card to share today on behalf of The Stamp Basket.  This one's a birthday card though, rather than a Christmas card (well it is still only October!).  I've used cute Tilly with a huge pile of presents.  I've used one of my favourite colour combos of pink and blue and some gorgeous dies.
