It's party time!

Hi all,
With a Bank Holiday weekend coming up in the UK, many of you may be planning a party and to celebrate, we have some special offers on this week at The Stamp Basket on a range of products suitable for parties!

To kick off our party celebrations today, I have a card to show you using the new Summer Bella Collection!

This adorable image is called Bella ‘Carrying  a Pile of Presents’ (re-named by WRS)…isn’t she just so cute and sure to get any party off with a swing! I’ve teamed her with papers from the new WRS ‘Bella’s Birthday’ paper pack…if you love pinks and cornflowers blues, you really will adore this pad!

Here’s a close up of the image which has been blinged with glamour dust and stickles!

I’ve also decorated the inside of the card with matching papers, and stamped and coloured the Magnolia ‘Lovely Balloons’ to match, too…just love the shape of those balloons and the image is a great size for a variety of projects!

Cuddly siblings...

Hi everyone and a Happy Friday! I have a card to show you today using one of my favourite images from the Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love collection called ‘Cuddly Siblings’.

These gorgeous papers are from the new Kaisercraft ‘Turtle Dove’ pad…who’d have thought that Christmas inspired papers could be so versatile!

Here’s a close up of the image coloured with copics…if you look closely, you’ll see a little surprise…as if by magic, between finishing my card and photographing it, I discovered that a little smile had appeared on Tilda and Edwin’s faces!! Awh, those sibling cuddles are so special aren’t they…no matter how big you grow!

All products used are available at The Stamp Basket

I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Tilly with Presents

The weekend’s here and although it’s not quite summer, I’m looking forward to a dessert of strawberries and chocolate! So, to get me in the mood, I thought I’d have a play with the new mouth-wateringly delicious Wild Rose Studio papers ‘Strawberry Picnic’...well, whilst it’s perhaps still not the weather for a picnic, I can dream can't I?!

The stamp that I’ve used today is from the new Wild Rose Studio Tilly Collection – these are such cute stamps! This one is called ‘Tilly with Presents’ – isn’t she just so darn cute peeping out from behind the presents?!

The sentiments are from the Whimsy ‘Celebration Circle Pennants’ set and die cut with the Whimsy’ Circle Pennants’ die set. I can’t claim any credit for the design of the banner, which is Lisa’s idea…I thought it looked so great on her card a few weeks ago, that I decided to give it ago, so out came my DMC threads to string the banner together...so quick and easy to do, and so effective, me thinks!

Recipe:
Products listed available at The Stamp Basket
Stamps: Tilly with Presents; Whimsy ‘Celebration Circles Pennants’

Tools: Whimsy‘Circle Pennants’ die set; Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch (please e-mail if you would like to order)
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoy the weekend!

Janet xx
