Customer Card Day

Hi all,
I hope you are all keeping well and warm...OMW hasn't it turned cold and windy the last few days...brrrrr!

I have such a cute card to show you today that was sent to me by Claire, one of our lovely customers. I was immediately drawn to Claire's gorgeous card, the moment I saw it!

I love the warm, soft colours that Claire has chosen for this card – they are just so right for this gorgeous Magnolia ‘Tilda with Heart Balloons’ stamp! I absolutely love it, Claire! Thanks so much for sending us a piccie!

You can see more of Claire’s work on her fab blog: http://clairemurphycrafts.blogspot.co.uk
You know, I really love it when customers send us cards! It feels so rewarding to see the wonderful creations that everyone makes from the parcels that we send out and, also, to hear about the fun that everyone has had playing with their new crafting goodies! So do, please, keep sending us piccies of the things that you make - we appreciate hearing from you so much!

Before I go, in case you haven't had chance to pop over to take a look at our January sale, there is a fabulous discount on 'Tilda with Balloons' and other Magnolia stamps...so, please, do pass the word on to any friends who are Magnolia fans! There are, also, many bargains still to be had on Saturated Canary, Molly Blooms and Wild Rose Studio stamps as well as lots of designer papers too, but best not delay, as the sale will be finishing in a couple of days’ time!
In the meantime, I hope you have a lovely evening!

Tinkerbell Little Lady Bug

Hello everyone.  It's Annette here again with another Stamp Basket creation.

I'm really loving these new Saturated Canary Rubber Stamps and this is the second time I've used this sweetie.  Last time she was in red, but this time I've coloured her in green, like Tinkerbell the fairy from Peter Pan.

I've reverted back to the safety of my Copics again for this one, so that I could cope better with her hair (I just can't seem to get hair right with the DI, and this girl needs to have good hair)

Cherry Blossom

Hello everyone.

It's Annette with you today to share a card I've made.  I really adore this new Saturated Canary stamp called Cherry Blossom.

Last time I coloured her in purple, and this time I've used yellow and green.  Green isn't a colour which I'm usually keen on, but I love these yellow and green papers so I've coloured her to match them.

I've stitched all the panels onto kraft coloured shimmer card and chalked some clouds behind the image.

Amy

Hiya everyone.  It's Annette here today using Whimsy's Amy from The Stamp Basket.  I've opted for a beautiful purple colour scheme for this card, and really tried harder with my colouring of the image.  I've coloured her first with copics, and then done some highlighting and shading with my pencils.  I worked for ages on her hair with both the copics and pencils, and it went from looking worse than my usual attempts can manage, to being what I now consider to be adequate.  I think I need to revisit the hair colouring department!! LOL.

I added some tufts of grass at her feet using a flicking motion with really sharp pencils in a few different shades of green.

I've also included two lovely dies, both coloured in some way; the picket fence was cut in white card, and then coloured with copics and pencils, and the honeyblossom sprig was cut in purple card and I used a dark purple copic to give the flower centres some depth before adding a huge pearl centre.

I've stitched around the image and DP panels, added a beautiful bow in the gorgeous sparkly sheer white ribbon, a few pearls and some flowers, and voilà!

All items are from The Stamp Basket as follows:
Pop over to The Stamp Basket to see the lovely array of products on offer.  Don't forget there's a fab sale on there too at the moment so grab your goodies while they're on offer.

Mountain Lily

Hi all,

I have a card to show you today that I made quite a while ago using the gorgeous Whimsy ‘Mountain Lily’ stamp.

The gorgeous papers are My Mind’s Eye ‘Lavender’…I just can’t get enough of this pad…so soft and feminine!

I’ve used two sentiments on this card: Whimsy ‘Ticket Notes’ and Wild Rose Studio ‘Circle Greetings’. The Memory Box ‘Frostyville Wreath’ has been cut from Bazzill ‘Fawn’ which co-ordinates really well with the pinks in these papers.

Here’s a close up of the image coloured with copics:

Little Lady Bug

It's Annette back here today using another Saturated Canary rubber stamp from The Stamp Basket today.  This one is called Little Lady Bug.  It's turned out as a monochrome red card, but she just seemed to need some red and I think I got carried away!  I've also glittered her to the max with glossy accentscrystal glamour dust and a touch of Stickles just to top it off!

All items are from The Stamp Basket as follows:

Spring Honey Blossom

Hi, it's Annette here today with an Elizabeth Bell card in some lovely spring fresh colours.  I tried so hard to colour her hair, doing lots of flick movements with my copics, but I still don't think that it looks that good.  More practice needed, I think!

I coloured my pearls, and the pearl brad with my copics to match the pink theme, and maintained my new year's resolution to include stitching on my card.

I've also used my honeyblossom sprig die again, this time I've coloured it with my chalks rather than leave it plain pink.

All items are from The Stamp Basket as follows:
Pop over to The Stamp Basket to see the lovely array of products on offer.

Happy crafting, and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Tilly with Rose

It's Annette here today with a Springtime card to cheer me up while the days are still short and dark.  This one features Tilly the dog with a HUGE rose.  I've kept it kind of simple, but used an oversize sentiment which I think matches the huge image too.

Hope you like my spring fresh card.
