Joy, Peace and Love

Hi all,
I have a criss cross card to show you today using an image from one of the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas Collection called ‘Annabelle and Tree’.

If you’ve never made a Criss cross card, they are really so easy to make and there are lots of tutorials on the web to show you how to go about it.

I’ve used two of the square straight edged Craftwork Cards stuck together with opposing sides cut to make the triangle effect. The papers that I used are a combination of Nitwits ‘Joyful Hearts Holly’ (for the front) and Papermania ‘At Christmas Time’ (for the inside), both of which were matted onto Bazzill Cardinal – you only need a small square of each.

Here’s a close up of the image which has been blinged with glamour dust and stickles!

I've used two sentiments on the card - on the front I've used one from the new Whimsy Holiday Notables 2 cut with the Whimsy Notables 2 die – these sentiments are just right for small spaces and the set (comprising 17 stamps in all) have a range of lovely words, suitable for all Christmas cards. The die is the gorgeous Memory Box Whimsical Flourish – I think this has been one of my favourite of all the Memory Box Christmas dies this year!
I've also used the sentiment from the Wild Rose Studio 'Christmas Tree' stamp set in the inside panel. The tabs have been made using the Memory Box Bistro Label...such a versatile little die!

                                      Card Recipe:

Don’t forget our weekend offer on Nellie Snellen and Marianne Design stamps, dies and papers...some great bargains!

I hope you have a lovely weekend, whatever your plans!

Big hugs,

Janet xx
