Oh, Christmas Tree...(and another give-away!)

Hi all,

I have a Christmas card to show you today...my first this year...and hopefully, the first of many to come! If it was January, I'd be making a resolution to get my Christmas cards made early to avoid needing to pop out to the shops at the last minute...so to coin Kerry's phrase...I'm trying to get ahead!

I've opted for a very simple card using a gorgeous Memory Box Flowering Christmas Tree die and combined it with the lovely Papermania 'At Christmas Time' papers that are currently in our sale! If you like your Christmases to be traditional, then these papers are for you...full of rich reds, holly greens and gold stars!

Recipe:

Dies: Memory Box Flowering Christmas Tree; Marianne Creatables Poinsettia (sorry sold out)

...and now on to some other news...we have another small give-away! Over the next 24 hrs (or so...offer ends at 8-00p.m. Thursday), we are giving away a Christmas digi stamp to five lucky winners...

All you have to do is:

** become a blog follower, if you're not one already

and

** leave us a comment below telling us what kind of Christmas cards you like to make.

This offer closes at 8-00p.m. (GMT) tomorrow, Thursday 19th July.

Winners will be posted tomorrow evening.

Please note: this offer is now closed
Hugs,
Janet xx

  1. This card is lovely. I must say that I have never made Christmas cards before I have one on my blog but have no idea what type of cards I'm looking to make, I think I need more experience.

  2. Your card is gorgeous Janet, I love the tree die and the red gems and ribbon look so beautiful.
Last year I made lots of Christmas cards with stamped images, many of them snowmen! But now I have got a Bigshot I will using lots of die cuts.

  3. What a lovely card you've made !
And that elephant you give away is so cute !!!!!

My favourite Christmas card is one with the lovely Magnolia stamps on it.
But I am also making other Christmas cards. On my blog you'll find some I made earlier this year. I am getting used to make Christmas cards so early. It is nice to have a lot of cards ready.

  4. Hi Janet, Gorgeous card! Love the elegant tree and traditional Christmas colours.

My favourite Christmas cards are cute using stamped images. However, this year I am going to make some non-cute cards because I find non-cardmakers don't get cute!

  5. I'm a traditional kind of Christmas girl... I love rich greens and reds. But I also like doing black and white cards. Whatever I do, stamping is at the heart of it!

  6. wow thanks for the chance - I love to make all sorts of Christmas cards - I used to be more traditional with colours but these days really anything goes - white on white with a coloured stamped image is a particular favourite! Hugs rachel xx

  7. Gorgeous digi - he's a really cute little guy! I like making clean and simple Christmas cards using either a stamp or die cut as my focal point. I love blues, silvers and purples for Christmas cards. Thanks for the chance to win!
