Hi everyone. My card today showcases a stamp from the
new Elizabeth Bell Cottage Cutie Collection by Whimsy called ‘April Sunshine’ – it’s
such a cute, versatile image and really lovely to colour! The sentiment on the front of
the card is from the ‘With Love’ set of stamps designed by Tina Wenke for
Stampavie – there’s a lovely range of sentiments stamps in this
set that can be used for so many different occasions, so good value for money…and, of course, being Stampavie, they stamp beautifully.
The doily behind the image has been made using the Memory
Box ‘Quinn Flourish’ – this is a lovely delicate die which would also look great as a focal
point for a project. The border has been created using the Martha Stewart Edger
‘Doily lace’ punch and the dragonfly is the smaller baby ‘Willow Dragonfly’
from Memory Box. I’ve decorated the inside of the card to compliment the
front, using a corner die from the Whimsy Corner die set, along with the Memory
Box ‘Petite Umbrella’ die (optimistically, mine is a parasol!) and the Memory
Box ‘Fancy Blossoms’ die set. The sentiments inside the card have been computer
generated.
All products used are available at The Stamp Basket.
