A giveaway with a difference!

Hello everyone! Today, I have some news about our giveaway and a card to show you showcasing our first digi stamp ‘Love came down at Christmas’ – the two are linked so, please, read on! This is a giveaway with a big, big difference. If you have been following Claudia Rosa’s blog this weekend, you will know already about her fundraiser for Brandon and his family (http://rosaswelt.blogspot.com). We are supporting this fundraiser and would be grateful if you would post news about both our giveaway and the fundraiser on your blog. Our giveaway is open to anyone resident in the UK and Europe.

To celebrate the Christmas season, from today until 5p.m. on Friday 9th December 2011, we are giving away the Christmas digi stamp used in my card below with our good wishes to you. To receive the stamp, all you need to do is write to us via our ‘Contact Us’ page on our website (www.thestampbasket.co.uk) suggesting a name for the baby elephant that appears on our website banner, blog, blinkie and Christmas digi stamp. Please head your message title with your suggested name for the elephant.  Your digi stamp will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of receipt of your message.  It’s as simple as that!  The name will be chosen by The Stamp Basket team and announced on our blog and website on Saturday afternoon 10th December 2011!

So what has all of this to do with Brandon’s family, I hear you asking? Well, there is an alternative way to name the baby elephant and obtain your free digi stamp! If you would like to make a small donation to the Brandon family, you can do so by visiting the ‘Digi Stamp’ page on our website. There, you will find facilities to make a donation. Donations will be processed through Paypal – instructions of how to do this are on the website.  If, at the same time you make your donation, you would, also, like to suggest a name for the baby elephant, you can do this by writing your suggestion in the ’comments to merchant’ box when you pass through to Paypal. Your digi stamp will be automatically e-mailed to you once your donation has been processed by Paypal.  Should you wish to make a larger donation than the facility offered on the website, please contact Claudia Rosa direct to do this (details are on her blog).  All profits (after the deduction of Paypal fees) will be forwarded to Claudia Rosa for donation to Brandon’s family. A running total of donations made for Brandon’s family via The Stamp Basket will appear daily on the front page of our website and on our blog.

We know that times are hard for many people at the moment, and it may be that you have your own special charities that you donate to regularly. The digi stamp is yours, with our good wishes for Christmas and the New Year, whether you make a donation or not! We hope that you will enjoy using it and will send us a piccie of the cards and projects that you make with it. We will be setting up a special ‘Brandon Gallery’ page on the website with all the pictures we receive from you – so please, let us know how you get on!
