Nativity Play

Hi everyone.  It's Annette here today to share a card using a sweet image from The Stamp Basket.

Yes, it is another Christmas card.  But it is nearly November, so Christmas is only 8 weeks away.  (Considering I was making Christmas cards in January, I'm not entirely sure that excuse works, but I'm sticking to it!)

This new flourish die is just amazing.   I LOVE IT.   I loved the corner bow but this one is fantastic too.

These Kaisercraft papers are also adorable. My favourite so far is the one I've used on the top half.  It's so romantic and pretty.

Purple Tilly

I've got another card to share today on behalf of The Stamp Basket.  This one's less of a traditional Christmas colour card, but I think it is sometimes nice to be different!

I love the sweet snowflake embossing folder and the gorgeous corner dies.  I'm also in love with this small bistro label die.  It's a great size.

Nativity Play

Hi all,

I have a card to show you today using one of my favourite Christmas images from the third Wild Rose Studio Christmas Collection called ‘Nativity Play’.

The gorgeous papers are from the Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love Collection…I thought the colours were just right for a contemporary nativity card...and they are in our mid season sale!

The snowflakes have been made using two of the four dies that come in the Spellbinders Snowflake Pendant set - such good value for the price!

The sentiment is a Molly Blooms text stamp (just love these stamps...and its in the sale!) and the tag has been made using the Memory Box Pocket Gift Tag (with the pocket bit chopped off!)....the pocket is great for holding little pressies like high street gift cards, that you can tuck into a handmade Christmas or Birthday card! This die is also currently in our mid season sale!

Tilly with Presents

It's Annette with another card to share today on behalf of The Stamp Basket.  This one's a birthday card though, rather than a Christmas card (well it is still only October!).  I've used cute Tilly with a huge pile of presents.  I've used one of my favourite colour combos of pink and blue and some gorgeous dies.

Present for You

It's Saturday, so it's me, Annette, here today with another card to share on behalf of The Stamp Basket.

Today's card is a bit more masculine, so I've kept the embellishments to a minimum (well, this is a minimum for me).

The Holly dies are accented with some red liquid pearls, dark green copic and white gel pen.

I'm just so in love with these pearl brads, they really seem to finish off the bows perfectly, and look especially good on this dark green satin ribbon.

The papers are really traditional, and make a classic Christmas card.

Cuddly siblings...

Hi everyone and a Happy Friday! I have a card to show you today using one of my favourite images from the Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love collection called ‘Cuddly Siblings’.

These gorgeous papers are from the new Kaisercraft ‘Turtle Dove’ pad…who’d have thought that Christmas inspired papers could be so versatile!

Here’s a close up of the image coloured with copics…if you look closely, you’ll see a little surprise…as if by magic, between finishing my card and photographing it, I discovered that a little smile had appeared on Tilda and Edwin’s faces!! Awh, those sibling cuddles are so special aren’t they…no matter how big you grow!
