Good morning.
Debs here with my usual Sunday morning inspiration using some scrummy stash from

It is however, my last project as I have made the hard decision to stand down from the DT.

So with that in mind I have made a Thank You card for Janet to say thanks for the opportunity she has given me to work with some fabulous crafty goodies this past year.

Here's what I used:

Colouring Medium: Copics

Starry Night

Today's card features Bella the heffalump (and friend) in a frosty blue themed Christmas card.  The papers and dies are also Wild Rose Studio and I've layered each panel onto silver mirri card (although it looks black in the piccy).

Mouse on Presents

Hi everyone!

For today’s Birthday card, I’ve team the cute Wild Rose Studio ‘Mouse on Presents’ stamp with Bo Bunny ‘C’est La Vie’ papers.  This is quite a different colour combo for me but I was pleased with the way it turned out!

Girl with Xmas Bouquet

Hi everyone!
One of my New Year’s resolutions was try to get ahead with my Christmas cards this year…and although I’ve not done a count, the lid won’t fit on my box already, which is a good sign that I’m not going to be caught out again this time round!
The Christmas card I have to show you today uses the products from the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas release. The sweet image is ‘Girl with Bouquet’, the papers are ‘Holly Lane’ and the Die is 'Holly Flourish' which I’ve coloured with copics.

An Adorable Bella Keepsake

Good morning.
Debs here with my usual Sunday Morning Inspiration some scrummy goodies from

And today I have made an adorable keepsake for my Nephew's Daughter Layla Rae who will be having her naming ceremony today.

I covered an MDF heart shape with some gorgeous 'Maja Design - Coffee in the Arbour' Design Papers and then added a die cut 'Magnolia- Sweet Lovely Lace' border across the centre with some 'Cream - Vintage Style Ribbon' and some Pink Ric Rac
Button and Twine from 'Rowan Fairy Kit'

I think this sort of thing is better than giving a card sometimes - don't you?

Hope you have a fabulous crafty day.

Waiting for Santa

Morning all!

Today, I have a feast of festive projects from The Stamp Basket archives featuring the cute Bildmalarna stamp 'Mimosa Waiting for Santa'.

For me, this stamp beautifully captures the anticipation of Christmas! Hope you enjoy!

Snow Doily

Today's card is super quick and there's not an ounce of cuteness in sight.

I've popped one of the new snow doily dies from Wild Rose Studio onto an embossed card base using foam pads.

Without blowing my own trumpet, I think that it looks more elegant in real life and the photo doesn't seem to do it justice.

The only added embellishment is a large white pearl in the centre.

I am hoping that this might be one of those rare cards in my collection that might be suitable for sending to a guy.

Geekin' It

Today's card is one of my favourites for a long time.  My favourite colours, beautiful Maja Design papers, a simple layout and I was quite pleased with my colouring (I've been practising 'blond' again!)

A Gilded Snowflake

Good Sunday morning.
Debs here with a little crafty inspiration using a few items from the fabulous

and today I have made a little Christmas Bauble using a gorgeous new

I covered a chipboard bauble shape using the gorgeous First Edition 'Nordic Christmas' Design Papers and added a touch of Gesso and Distress ink to the edges.
I inked the scrummy WRS 'Lacy Snowflake' die using VersaMark  and then heat embossed with Stamp n Bond - this becomes sticky and then I covered it with Gilding Flakes.
Before adhering to the centre of the chipboard bauble I added a Pearl Brad to the centre of the gilded snowflake.
Finishing off with a length of Cream Vintage Style Ribbon to hang it up :o)

Nice and simples!!!

Hope you like my wee Festive Make and feel inspired to get crafty.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Bluebell With Presents

I'm back in Christmas mode again with a lovely image of Bluebell and some Nitwit papers.  These papers are really great quality thick card so I tend to use them on square cards which are easier to cut to shape.

I've also used a summery die, but since it included birdies which seemed to match the robin, I hoped they were versatile enough for me to get away with it!  A snowflake die and a 'Merry Christmas' sentiment sealed the deal.

Bella sitting on a pile of presents

Yellow isn't a colour I would usually opt for, but it seemed to go well with the blues on the papers, so it inspired me to try it on an image.  I picked a fun birthday image of Bella on Presents and matched it with some gorgeous yellow satin ribbon.

Lacy Snowflake

Morning all! I have another Christmas project to show you today using two of the new release Wild Rose Studio dies: ‘Snow Doily’ and ‘Lacy Snowflake’. I am loving these new dies!

I’ve cut the ‘Snow Doily’ from the new Wild Rose Studio ‘Frosty Lace’ papers and then mounted the ‘Lacy Snowflake’, which has been die cut from Dovecraft ‘Silver Mirror Card’, on the top – voila! It really couldn’t be simpler and another great production line design, that I shall be using with a variety of background colours and papers this year!

I’ve also made another cute little envelope for my card using a piece of Papermania paper from my stash that beautifully matches the aquas of the ‘Frosted Lace’ paper! I’m really liking this We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board for making envelopes – it’s such a versatile tool! Don’t forget it’s available to advance order with 10% off at The Stamp Basket Online store until tomorrow at 5-00p.m.

Girl and Snowman

Morning all! I hope you’ve been enjoying the feast of Christmas projects that our designers have been making to help you get ahead with your Christmas preparations this year!

Today, I have another Christmas card to show you using one of the new release stamps by Wild Rose Studio called ‘Girl and Snowman’. This stamp is just the right size for mass production of small Christmas cards!

The picture doesn’t take long to colour and with a small piece of Bazzill ‘Cardinal’ red backing card, some glamour dust and a few pearls, your project is finished!

I’ve also made a cute little envelope for my card using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and some Papermania ‘At Christmas Time’ paper. This tool is absolutely great for making your own envelopes. There’s a chart provided with the Board giving the dimensions of the paper size required to fit the size of card, then all you need do is punch, score and stick…job done! Unfortunately, this item is currently out of stock in our store but we are offering 10% off on advanced orders placed before 5-00p.m. this Friday, if you are interested!
