Girl and Snowman Easel Card

Good morning.
Debs here with my usual Sunday morning inspiration using some scrummy stash from

and this week I have made an easel card - love these cards and I haven't made one for a while :o)

I have used one of the new Wild Rose Studio Christmas release stamps 'Girl and Snowman' and some new Wild Rose Studio Christmas Design Papers 'Frosted Lace'

Card Ingredients:
Colouring Medium: 'Copics'
Design Paper: WRS 'Frosted Lace'
Die Cuts: Joy Crafts 'Winter Wishes - Ice Crystals'

I added some Viva Decor Ice White pearl pen on the 'fur trim' to give it some texture and then added some Crystal Glamour Dust over the top before it dried to give it some fabulous sparkle.
The sparkle on the snowman is from a Wink of Stella clear pen.

Hope you've had a lovely week.

Have a fabulous crafty day.

Fairy Bear

It's Friday again and to get me in the mood for the weekend, I've used my favourite colour and an image of a bear and kittens.  In my honest opinion you can't generally go wrong with either bears or kittens, so by incorporating both surely that is going to make the weekend get off to a great start.

Girl With Xmas Presents

Morning all, and welcome. It is my final card for The Stamp Basket DT, my how the last six months have flown. I would like to take the opportunity of thanking Janet for the opportunity, I have had a blast, and she has been so kind, encouraging and patient with me. Thank you hunny, I will miss you.

So, what do I have for you for my last card? Well, it is another of those super gorgeous new Wild Rose Studio Christmas releases.

Ingredients that are available from The Stamp Basket Store
Stamping Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black
Colouring Medium: Distress Inks (ReInkers)

And from my stash, pencils, Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals, and plain card base
Can I just say, if you have never tried the Wild Rose Studio dies, you have been missing out. They cut beautifully, first time every time, and there is none of this struggling to get the paper out of the die. Like the summer collection, these winter ones almost fall out on their own.
So, that's me done, thanks to everyone who has been so supportive of my time as a member of The Stamp Basket DT, including my amazing and talented teamies, Annette and Deb, and of course Janet.
Hugs to all

Coming very soon!

Morning all!

I'm just stopping by to tell you about some lovely new dies that will be arriving in store very soon...

...in fact, when I say, very soon, I actually mean, hopefully, today!

These lovely Pine Boughs and winter branches from Creative Expressions will bring a gorgeous festive feel to your handmade Christmas cards...

...or how about these gorgeous Holly Sprays to decorate cards, Christmas presents or table decorations?

...And here's a die that can be at the heart of everyone's Christmas card production line this year. If you're looking to make cards that take only a few minutes to produce but look as if they've taken hours, then why not consider this die...

JOY - a beautiful sentiment which sums up the festive season!

...Or how about this set of dies by Spellbinders...just right to add a festive touch to Christmas cards or gift tags.

There are four popular shaped ornaments in this set and each has a matching smaller die that can be nested into its respective shapes.

By using the entire set, you can create over a dozen or more ornaments by nesting the dies or using them alone - now that's what I call great value!

All of these dies are currently on pre-order in our online store...but not for long! So why not pop over to the Stamp Basket store and take a browse...and whilst you're there, don't forget to take advantage of our summer sale!!

Hope you have a great day!

Angel on Reindeer

I'm back to my old fussy style with today's card, and it's another festive number featuring one of the new Wild Rose Studio images.  I've water-coloured it with my DI reinkers adding a smidgeon of glossy accents on the baubles.  It's another hat-trick because as well as the image and papers, I've also used one of WRS's new dies too; a pretty lacy snowflake tucked behind the image.

Teddy with Gerbera

It's official.  I adore these papers.  I've used some of the soft pink papers from my Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics Paper Pad and used the same shades of pink in my image.

I decided to stitch the panels, (note to self - think twice about cutting a circle shape if you're going to stitch them) and added some white pearls and a couple of white floral die cuts.  I also used some of the backing papers as the solid behind my Arianna Sprig die to make it stand out.

The card base was made using the Martha Stewart PATP Swirling Lace punch and I’ve also used a range of dies on this card: the Nellie Snellen ‘Multi-frame Heart 2 die’ (currently available in our summer sale); the Memory Box ‘Meadow Dragonfly’ die and Spellbinders ‘Sprigs’ die.

Girl and Penguin

Morning all, as it is Wednesday I am here with my DT card for The Stamp Basket blog.  Only one more week before I step down so I am feeling a little sad.

Today's card isn't so much CAS as PAS, plain and simple, but it does use such a super sweet image and very pretty papers.  Are you ready?

Ingredient available from The Stamp Basket store
Stamping Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black

and from my stash, pencils and sentiment
Snowflake die is from a Shapeabilities set that I bought from The Stamp Basket
(not sure if this will come back but I hope it does, the set is gorgeous)

Loving these Wild Rose Studio stamps, each one is so darned cute!

And don't forget, the Summer Sale is still on so you still have time to snaffle a bargain or three.

Love n hugs

Frosty View

Morning everyone,

I have a Christmas card to show today using one of the new gorgeous Wild rose Studio dies called ‘Frosty Corner’ - I love how delicate these die-cuts have turned out!

I’ve centred the design around the Memory Box 'Grand Gothic Stained Glass Window' die using a small piece of the new Wild Rose Studio ‘Frosty Lace’ Papers behind to create a view. The flowers have been punched from a small piece of one of the new WRS 'Holly Lane' papers and the sentiment from the lovely Whimsy 'Christmas Sayings' stamp set (with the bottom chopped off the rest of the sentiment because it was too large to fit on the card!).

Bluebell and Presents

I have a cute Christmas Bluebell image to share today in quite a CAS design.  I have cut a nestie shape into the middle of my backing paper before sticking it onto my card base.  I then matted the cut shape onto deep red card and stuck it back direclty over the cut area on the card base. This technique only uses one piece of designer paper, but it creates a sort of frame that I quite like.  Simple and economical! :0)

Geekin' It

Oh my word, I'm in love with these papers.  They're just my colours and I love the muted tones.  I coloured the image to match the papers and used lilac backing card to matt the layers.  I also used some of the paper to paper piece my Arianna Sprig die.

I love the stitched look around the panels which I think creates a bit of a vintage look and I rounded two of the corners around the image to soften it up a bit more.

Reindeer Flying

Is it a bird, or a plane?  Well no, actually it isn't, and it isn't Superman either!  Morning all, welcome to Wednesday and my DT day with The Stamp Basket.

In case you hadn't spotted them yet, the delicious Wild Rose Studio Christmas stamps (and soon the new dies and papers - on preorder now) are in stock so I have been having a happy play with one of them.

Ingredients for this card which are available from The Stamp Basket store are:
Ink & Medium: Memento Tuxedo Black and

From my stash: sentiment

For the background on this one, I stamped the Reindeer, made a mask (we lost a hoof and half an antler during the cutting out!) and then with DI pads of Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot I got inky with a big stiff bristled brush.  The little stars I did with a punch and the masking paper.  Which was fine until I inked over them and then couldn't find them to peel them off!

Little Friends - Shelley

Morning everyone,

I have a birthday card to show today using one of the gorgeous Sylvia Zet Little Friends toppers called ‘Shelley’ which I‘ve teamed with the pretty vintage style Maja Design ‘Coffee in the Arbour’ papers.

I’ve used a range of dies on this card: the gorgeous Spellbinders ‘Fancy Lattice’ die to help create a background trellis; the Memory Box ‘Oceana Border’ die for the waves (currently available in our summer sale). The foliage was created using Spellbinders ‘Sprigs’ and Marianne Designs ‘Leaf Branch’ and the flowers have been made using the Memory Box ‘Hibiscus’ die to give a tropical feel!

The sentiment is from the Whimsy ‘Ticket Notes’ stamp set and has been die cut with the Whimsy ‘Ticket’ die - both are currently available in our summer sale! And finally, the happy birthday sentiment has been die cut using the Whimsy Circle Pennant die set also currently available in our summer sale!

Bella Sitting on a Pile of Presents

I'm in love with my new Summer Basics papers from Maja Design.  The whole pad is full of gorgeous pinks and blues.  I'm definitely going to be using this pad a LOT.

I've teamed them with my cute Bella Sitting on a Pile of Presents and stitched all the panels in a bid to match the vintage feel of the papers.

Bella Paper Panels

Good morning Debs here with a super quick Sunday morning inspiration share for

as I am just about to finish packing for my jolly holibobs - we fly later this evening :o)

So with time being short this week I decided to make a nice and simple card using one of the adorable pre-coloured Wild Rose Studio 'Bella Paper Panels'

Perfect for a card in a hurry and this was - I nearly forgot that it will be my youngest Great Niece's 3rd birthday when we are away and I needed to get this made and posted before we left.

Card Ingredients:
Flowers: Fussy cut from WRS 'Blossom Burst' Die

Have a crafty weekend.
