Noble Ornate

I've been having a play using the Creative Expressions Noble Collection Ornate Pierced Square die set and here's what I created:
 

It's not my usual style of card and was quite a challenge trying to work out what went where but I'm quite pleased with the first attempt!

Cuddly Ride

I couldn't resist treating myself to this cute image called 'Cuddly Ride' by Whimsy Wee Stamps...aren't they both such adorable little characters?!

The gorgeous papers are First Edition 'Bella Rose'. The sentiment is a Whimsy stamp called 'Simply Stitched Circles' and the bow die is by Creative Expressions. The flowers were created using Memory Box N'orrland Flower' die; the leaves have been cut using Memory Box 'Fabulous Phlox' and a Magnolia die (oops, one appears to need some remedial work!).

Pearl Anniversary

Another very clean and simple card to celebrate a 30th Wedding Anniversary! 

The background 'criss-cross' paper was made using a scor-board and the elegant die-cut was made with the Memory Box 'Silverdale Heart'.

Vintage Summer Meadows

Hello!

I'm really enjoying making clean and simple cards at the moment - this one was made using Memory Box 'Lavish Branch' and Sissix 'Tattered Florals' dies. The country style papers are left-overs from an old pack by Docrafts called 'Summer Meadows'.

Spring Bringer

Today's card is another one that I made some time ago now and never got round to showing...

The image is Wee Stamps 'Spring Bringer' by Whimsy Stamps and the Step Card Cutting die set is by Crafts Too.

I decided to go with a simple layout for this card and kept it uncluttered. It felt quite strange not adding lots of embellishments but the recipient appreciated its simplicity, which was all important!

Love is...

Hello! I'm back again with my first card in ages. Loved making this one! The colours in these Maja papers are gorgeous...and although the Penny Black 'Love' die is really part of a Christmas die set, it can be used at any time of the year!

The bow has been cut with a Sue Wilson die.
The flowers have been cut with Memory Box Fabulous Phlox and Fancy Blossoms dies.
The leaves have been cut with a Magnolia die and Martha Stewart punch.
The large butterflies have been cut with the Memory Box Pippi Butterfly die and the small butterflies are from the Memory Box Dancing Butterflies die.

Tag Album

I made this tag album quite a while ago and hadn’t attempted anything like it before, but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed designing it!

 

The papers are from the Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection...such gorgeous colours! 

 

Whilst there is always plenty of opportunity for embellishments with this kind of a project, I had to be mindful of the need for the album to close, so kept them to a minimum on the inside pages!

I decided to leave some of the pages on the right blank so that the recipient could have fun choosing photographs...and could, also, 'theme' the album if they wanted to.

 

I used some of the Graphic 45 cut a parts to make the tags and also the little book at the front of the page below, adding some special little sentiments inside... 

This page was left clean and simple...ideal for a photograph or other special keepsakes.
